Religious Education

Our CCD program spans 12 grades, including Pre-K and Kindergarten, and serves a vibrant community of students. A dedicated team of teachers—both regular and substitute—plays a vital role in the faith formation of our children through their selfless service to the parish community. Many of our teachers are also young members of the parish Youth Group. To nurture leadership and responsibility, some classes are independently managed by these youth teachers without an adult instructor present.

New teachers participate in comprehensive training sessions, and ongoing formation opportunities are provided to all teachers throughout the year. All teachers and volunteers complete mandatory Safe Environment training, and adult volunteers undergo criminal background checks to ensure the safety and well-being of our children.

In addition to regular CCD instruction, students who are interested in serving at the altar receive training, and new altar servers are inducted regularly. Holy Communion and Confirmation classes are conducted as part of the sacramental preparation program, with the sacraments administered according to the parish schedule. We are blessed to have the Rev. Sisters guiding the formation of our children through sacramental preparation, altar server training, and regular CCD instruction.

Special observances such as Catechetical Sunday, Mission Sunday, and All Saints’ Day are celebrated with enthusiasm and devotion, fostering spiritual growth and strengthening our sense of community.

Our students actively participate in the diocesan Bible Quiz, Dei Verbum, demonstrating their eagerness to deepen their knowledge of Sacred Scripture. Under the leadership of the CCD Principal and with the continued support of parents, our devoted teachers remain committed to passing on the faith to the next generation.
